      I bought it on strength of 5 star reviews. When it arrives,(next day!) the note says, “Leave a 5 star review and we’ll refund you £10!. What would You do? A bit unethical in my book. Well over hyped. Its so light, the hose winder needs 3 hands and 2 feet to operate. Its just a high powered hose without the “rotating hammer” action of my 20 year old Karcher 300 that really does move the dirt. Cheaply made plastic, but good metal connections. So dissapointed with performance after expectations from advert, I returned it. God bless Amazon and Union Mart for refund. Its a bit like American cars and politicians. All wind and noise and spectacle, but no performance or quality!!

      I ordered a “Pressure Washer – Electric RX525” which arrived sooner than expected. I set it up as per included instructions and when I switched it on it powered up and then died immediately. I phoned Union Mart to explain the problem and was told that as it was bought through Amazon I had to do everything through amazon. UM said the return postage would be prepaid. The return labels emailed to me required paid postage and sending from a post office. Amazon and UM required proof of postage paid (£30.96) which I sent as instructed. Amazon was quick to reply saying they would not be paying for the return postage. I called UM again for clarification but was told by a rather rude young lady with a bad tone that it was nothing to do with UM as Amazon should deal with it and there was nothing she could do. So far £179.99 for a faulty pressure washer, £30.96 (perhaps unnecessary) return postage, conflicting returns information and both Union Mart and Amazon passing the buck about who is responsible. I’m out over £200 and have received terrible service from both companies and have nothing to show for it but a bad taste left by offensive staff. Make of it what you will but these are the facts so far. Union Marts customer service is terrible and not what they say in their ads. Amazon are usually good but this time their customer service is terrible too. Hat an awful waste of time and money. I will be sure to repost if there is a remarkable turn around of attitude and service but don’t hold your breath. Very unhappy customer.

      Despite all the positive reviews i read about this washer i have been left frustrated and let down as my particular unit stopped working after i had used it for a couple of days while cleaning my driveway. If it had worked as stated in most reviews i do think that it would be great value for money given the accessories that come with it, and it was certainly well put together with good quality materials. Despite the positives if it does not work it is no better than a garden ornament. I may have been very unlucky with this unit and would buy again despite this disappointing experience. Very poor customer service from Union-Mart, i needed to go onto customer service at Amazon to secure my refund, very disappointing experience with Union-Mart

      On the 23/06/2020 I ordered the RX525i from Amazon. This was delivered to me on the 25/06/2020. I unpacked the box and used the pressure washer to clean a part of my driveway, one use only. Machine is powerful but I have an issue with the bodywork that the handle fits into. When viewed from the rear the handle pin engages perfectly on the left hand side but on the right hand side the black plastic frame has a bulbous bit of plastic that the pin goes into but it is not a solid fit as when you lean on the handle it pushes down causing the handle to stress, this could cause breakage in time.
      On the 26/06/2020 I emailed Union Mart via Amazon to report the problem. I was told by Union Mart that they would look into the manufacturing fault.
      On the 01/07/2020 I was offered a replacement handle, this was also offered on subsequent occasions. I explained that would not solve the problem. I sent Union Mart a photograph of the problem with my wife pointing at it.
      On the 02/07/2020 I was asked to repackage all the items for return and to arrange a collection date.
      On the 07/07/2020 I arranged the collection date and was assured by email that the problem would be resolved with a replacement unit. As I had not heard anything for7 days, I asked for updates. On the 15/07/2020, I was told they had received the package I had sent and that they would send a replacement unit. I took delivery of the second unit the next day. It appeared to have been a used one. As the problem was still on the unit I phone the company and it was collected the same day.
      On the 22/07/2020 the unit I had returned was sent back to me the problem had still not been addressed. The packaging was a bit rough looking and on opening the box the polystyrene was a bit broken, the small box was not sealed up, and the power washer was not in the plastic bag. More importantly Items were missing i.e the instruction book, nozzle cleaning pin and a small screw that came in a small plastic bag. I phoned the company to report the missing items. I was sent an electronic instruction booklet but thought this was unacceptable as I had sent the original one back complete with the nozzle cleaning pin and the small screw. A further email from the company after I had let them know about the missing items stated that everything would be in the package that was being sent to me, this was clearly not so. On the 23/07/2020 I phoned to ask for a paper copy of the manual also the cleaning pin and the small screw. At first this was rejected but after further discussion it was agreed that they would send me the manual. They had asked for photographs of the contents of the box which I thought was unnecessary.
      24/07/2020 I received a photocopy of the instructions not the booklet. I have not had the nozzle cleaning pin and the small screw. I have emailed the company again to report the missing items.
      I am disappointed as every time I have returned all the contents as requested.
