I was quite impressed when I received this machine. Looked well built with some nice features like quick release hoses etc. I have now owned it for 9 months, and having used it a total of approximately 10 times there is already 2 things that have broken. Although still under guarantee, Karcher customer service is terrible. Email after email and phone call after phone call, eventually I was allowed to speak with a supervisor who told me the replacement parts would be dispatched without delay. The parcel duly arrived on the second day, but only contained one of three parts required…..here we go again. I will look elsewhere when it breaks again, won’t be to long, I’m sure.
Also, the machine has a tendency to cut out if you use it constantly for more than about 10 minutes. If you leave it for a while, it will run again but it’s very frustrating when you are in the middle of something. Not good.

Having had a Karcher 6.75 for 10 years when it gave up the ghost I thought I’d try another one. This machine is OK is the best I can say but it feels like Karchers have gone up in price but not quality. I didn’t want to spend vast amounts so opted for what I thought would be a reasonable machine. It has just enough power but the hose is absolutely not long enough for doing a large car so add another £50 for a longer hose onto the price of this and you’re up at higher price Karcher machines with slightly longer hoses. I was also disappointed that storage for the hose and electric cable is not great. On my old Karcher there was an inbuilt reel so neatly stored. This one you have to unclip the gun each time and coil the hose to store it on the hook at the back. Frankly, unclipping the hose and gun at each use looks to me to be a breakage waiting to happen. Plus if you’re soring the hose on the one hook where do you put the electric cable? As I say, the machine is OK but not great for the money.

Just purchased the Karcher K4 as my last one gave up.
Have just put it togeather which was not too difficult.
However on the description the Extendable handle is described as an aluminium handle. It is not. Its cheap black plastic.
The on off button is again cheap plastic.
Have tried it very briefly to ensure it was working and must admit I am not overly impressed by the power. The last K4 was much more powerful.
At present I am considering sending the item back

Not Happy!! Karcher now seem to be changing metal parts for plastic. Pictured is my old one next too my new one and shows parts from the pump head have now been changed to plastic. My old one lasted a year and a half till it started leaking around the control head (plastic) now there seems more of a chance this will happen again or sooner to a different piece. Gutted to find this after spending a week deciding to buy another karcher or not..

Absolutely fuming with this, might as well have thrown my money on the fire. I bought this last year to clean my car and now the wet winter months are in full swing the car is muddy as hell. So, for the first time, I got ready to use my Kärcher K4 and the water came out spinning. In that brief moment, happy.
After what couldn’t have been more than 10 seconds, the hose that connects to the back of the machine was pushed out by the incoming water. Obviously, I reconnected it and started again but the same thing happened. In desperation, I tried this about five times with no luck.
Looking closely at the hose it looks like the only thing that connects it to the machine is glue! I’ve looked online to see if this is something that can be fixed and I found nothing. So, I give up. Waste of money. Doesn’t work and there seems no way of fixing it. Perhaps mine was faulty, but I definitely would NOT recommend this to anyone.

This washer failed after less than six months. The lance would not pull out of the trigger gun. Nearly three weeks and a dozen emails I have failed to get a response from Karcher other than a request for a photo. A stuck lance looks the same as a unstuck lance!! I still wait for a constructive reponse

Having tried a colleagues pressure washer and purchased a cheap (around £100) unit in the past and been disappointed, I was sceptical as to whether this unit would be any good. Glad I purchased as the results are fantastic. Cancelled bin cleaning company as it’s a simple job to clean and over the three years covered by the warranty it will pay for itself just cleaning the bin.

After my 7 year old pressure washer gave up on me I replaced it was a K4 Full Control. 12 months in and it’s now at my local recycling centre. The main flange seals split causing 75% of the water to pour from every hole in the casing and in doing so frying the electrics in great smokey style. Numerous emails and attempted phone calls with no response.
Bought replacement parts to find that half way through its production life, most of the parts have been changed so 50% fitted and the rest did not.
All in all the only thing I have rinsed is my wallet.
