UPDATE ON ORIGINAL REVIEW:
I have been using the Greenworks pressure washer for almost 2 years and sadly it wasn’t holding up well.
There seems to be a design fault with the hose-to-unit attachment. It is really hard to screw on straight – if you don’t get it on straight, the fragile screw bit gets damaged/stripped and you can no longer get a 100% seal to build up the pressure. As a result I had to send back the unit twice for replacement, and I finally had enough and moved on to another brand.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
I have been using the two-bucket method for years, but was keen try snow foaming the car, and would like the convenience of having a pressure washer. This unit ticks all boxes for me:
1) Compact and practical:
Living in a London flat, I don’t have outdoor access to electricity and water. This is one of the few portable options available
The hose is 6m long so you don’t need to move it around to reach all corners of the car.
The unit itself looks big with the bucket, but it detaches. I leave the bucket next to my car and store the pressure unit in my flat – it’s quite small.
2) Battery life and water capacity
I bought a 5ah battery with a charger, thinking the 2ah running time of 10 minutes would fall short.
The only reason why people don’t give it 5 stars is the battery. There are options on ebay for little money and they are great (and includes charger, so no more complaints about price please!)
I finished after about 30 minutes on and off, and I still have juice left.
Filled up the bucket twice, but had almost half a bucket left after I finished. That included pre-wash, snow foaming, rinse and faffing around until I got the hang of it.
3) Performance
I have used a jet wash once, and thought the pressure was overkill.
Hence why I was not bothered about the moderate max pressure of 70 bar on this unit. No worries about damaging decals and sensors.
It feels plenty powerful and had no problem blasting off the dirt. I think they struck the right balance between power and practicality.
It’s first time I snow foamed the car, so can’t really comment on whether it did a good job. The soap tank is rather small (had to fill up twice to cover the car), but it foams ok I guess – not the creamy look I was hoping for but this could also be down to the soap itself and dilution. I have contacted Greenworks in regards to upgrading the lance.
Overall I am very happy with this unit. It is small, powerful and does the job.

Quite expensive machine and not very powerful, I was expecting better performance. It’s ok for a portable machine.
Battery life is short, 30 mins continuous use, that was extremely disappointing given the cost of the Battery and charger. Also note that battery and charger are not included, have to be bought separately, I overlooked that and it was a costly addition. After using the Battery for 30 mins it is hot and can’t be recharged until it’s cold, at least another 30 mins. Get reviews on others before buying.

Purchased the Greenworks unit as I had a battery with the Greenworks lawnmower. This makes the unit reasonably priced although there are cheaper power washers around. The unit produces good pressure (there is only one pressure setting) and is easy to use with the handle on the bucket making it easy to manoeuvre when cleaning larger items such as a car. The volume of the bucket is reasonable (a compromise as the bigger the bucket the heavier the unit) although a mains hose can be connected if necessary. The higher capacity battery provides more than sufficient power for three car washes. Possible improvements would be to make the hose for the gun a little longer to avoid having to move the unit too much and adding a reduced pressure setting.

When i received this product looking forward to using cordless power washer but disappointed
1.lucky if the battery last 8 min before recharge required 2Ah.
2. water in bucket last less time than the battery before having to refill (gamble which will run out first).
3.no wheels on unit a case of carrying back to the water source tap ,bucket and water not light weight.
Maybe would work better using 4Ah battery and having garden hose direct into the machine but then defeating the idea behind portability.
Would not recommend this product and not value for money

This portable pressure washer is really quite powerful and is certainly great value for money if you are buying a number of the other products in their range. As an individual purchase, the price of a battery may not be cost effective. So I suggest looking at what garden equipment you will want to buy in the range first. Always and I do mean alway buy the more powerful 4AH battery because 2AH really won’t be enough to do a job. I’ve just bought a second pressure washer, one for in the car for the bike and the second for the top of the garden for the patio. I already own a tiller/rotivator in the 40v range. The solution to the water supply is go on eBay and buy a second hand 29l aquaroll, the type used in caravans or similar because you will struggle to carry that much water in the bucket provided.

I needed a way to clean my caravan which is on a site with the water tap miles away. This isn’t my first greenworks buy, I already had their lawnmower and 2 40v 2 ah batteries and a fast charger. To test the power washer out and see how well it worked I gave it the toughest test I could find which was my really filthy ( hasn’t been cleaned for two years) patio. My karcher would have done a better job but then I wasn’t expecting this pressure washer to work miricals. It performed much better than I expected, given the tough challenge I had set it. The two batteries I already have are only 2 ah and didn’t last as long as they do in the lawn mower and I realised that to clean something as large as my van I would need another back up battery, so I have bitten the bullet and bought an additional 40v 4 ah battery.
